Dr Tony Page MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Many of you know Dr Tony Page already. With 30 years of experience as a veterinarian and well-established presence in West Lothian, Tony is known for his commitment to providing all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. His dedication extends beyond his patients, Tony also strives to create a great working environment for his team.
While being known as as workaholic and dedicated to his practice, in his spare team (which may not be often), he enjoys reading books, hill walking and a nice dinner out.

Dr Rachel Glen MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Rachel is a veterinary surgeon at The Pet Hospital. She qualified from Edinburgh University in 2021. She especially enjoys out-of-hours and emergency care. Rachel has two rescue tortoishell cats who she likes to spend time with.
Dr Alistair Taylor BVMS MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon
Alistair brings with him 32 years of veterinary experience, having originally run his own practice in Currie before working as a locum vet across Edinburgh and the Lothians. He particularly enjoys getting to know new people and their pets. Outside work, Alistair is kept busy by his three cats and a horse. When he does find a bit of spare time, he enjoys relaxing with family or playing his guitar.
Dr Jen Robertson BVMS MRCVS
Locum Veterinary Surgeon
Jen Has been a Locum here at The Pet Hospital since March 2026, She brings lots of experience from working in several different veterinary practices. Jen graduated from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2012. Jen especially enjoys surgery, specifically any soft tissue surgeries and the occasional BOAS surgery! She lives and works on a farm, so she is always surrounded by animals, Jen has A Labrador, a working Collie, around 200 sheep and the newest addition of 8 Pygmy goats. When she's not surrounded by furry friends she loves to spend time in her garden relaxing, going on runs and coaches a children's rugby team.
Niamh Green RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Niamh Joined the team in April 2026 after recently graduating as a registered veterinary nurse, you may have spotted her running around in her crazy coloured scrubs. She came to us with years of experience in emergency veterinary care and she particularly likes to work with cats and spend most of her day cuddling your pets as if they were her own. Niamh has a keen interest in anaesthesia and surgical roles, hoping to continue on furthering her knowledge at The Pet Hospital. Outside of work she enjoys going out with friends, belting her heart out at karaoke and reading at home with her crispy senior Persian Cat, Pumpkin! whom she rescued 3 years ago. She loves a good chat and is happy to talk you through anything you need.
Keira is a Registered Veterinary Nurse at The Pet Hospital. She has 20 years experience within the veterinary industry. Although Keira enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Nursing, she is passionate about impatient care and meeting all of your pets during nurse consultations.
Out of work, Keira spends her time looking after her two dogs - Broome, the Cockerpoo and Airlie, the crazy show Cocker. She can also be found carrying out DIY and home decoration projects.

Registered Veterinary Nurse
Chloe is a Registered Veterinary Nurse at The Pet Hospital. She has been working in the veterinary industry since January, 2018. She qualified as a RVN in March, 2023 having studied at SRUC Oatridge. Chloe previously worked with Tony for 5 years and is happy to be back with him again! She particularly enjoys diagnostic imaging and emergency care. Chloe also has an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University. She owns a miniature dachshund named Juno who really enjoys long walks and lying in the sun!

Alayna qualified with a BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2025 and gained experience in practice before joining The Pet Hospital. She is a valued member of the team, known for her kind and caring nature.
Alayna particularly enjoys patient care and spending time with animals, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during their visits. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially playing grass bowls.

Jennifer Brown
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Jennifer is an Animal Care Assistant here at The Pet Hospital. Working in a veterinary practice is new to Jennifer as she has previously worked with the Dogs Trust. She gained valuable experience in dog handling and behavior, as well as developed excellent customer care skills. Tony has known Jennifer from his years of doing the work at the Dogs Trust and he knew she would be a good asset to the veterinary team and is happy to have her working with us. Jennifer is excited to learn new skills working with all different types of small animals. She has one dog at home - Obi, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with her family and eating out.

Animal Care Assistant
Anna is one of our Animal Care assistants, she started with us in august 2026 after completing the VCA course at SRUC. Her favourite animal to work with is cats as she loves all the different personalities they bring to practice. Anna loves being able to learn from the veterinary surgeons and nurses, and when she is not assisting them with caring for animal's she is helping to make sure that the practice is clean and tidy! At home she has a Russian Blue called Bluebelle and a TToodle named Lola. When not at work she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.

Mary recently joined us at Reception, and while this is her first role in a veterinary practice, she’s already settling in wonderfully. At home, Mary is kept busy by her cockapoo, Dougal, and her rabbit, Leo. Caring for animals has always played a big part in her life, and she has grown up surrounded by pets and often helps friends and family with theirs. She enjoys learning about animal behaviour and wellbeing, and in her spare time she loves spending quality moments with her family, going for walks with Dougal, baking, reading, and watching films or documentaries.
